September is upon us and our riding days unfortunately are numbered. We just returned from our annual adventure ride, and this year we headed to southern Kentucky.
A slightly smaller group than last year left on Saturday August 27th in the midst of some pretty heavy storms that were moving thru the area. Fortunately, about 30 minutes into the ride the rain stopped, and the further south we rode, the clearer and hotter it became. We had a great week of weather in Kentucky, only running into heavy rain once.
After nearly 2000 miles everyone returned home safe and sound, some a little sorer than others, but looking forward to the next ride.
Our meeting ride this Sunday, which will be lead by our chapter director, will head out to Yorkville for ice cream.
Also this month, we tentatively have a day ride scheduled north to the Wind Point Light House in Wisconsin.
There’s only 2 months left until our yearly planning meeting, so get your ideas together of where you would like to have a ride too and get them to us so that we can start planning for next year
